I am in–not sure if I will do the 1/2 or full. If anyone is interested in being on Team Madison-let me know. It is a St. Jude Heroes fundraising team in honor of Madison Long–a little girl we knew who died of cancer and was a patient at St. Jude. It is such a great cause–last year we raised over $7000! I have not gotten started with this year’s stuff yet, but just let me know if you are interested.
Well sounds like we are running a 1/2 marathon in December.
Fight Gone Bad III is on September 27th
and will benefit Athlete’s for a Cure and the Wounded Warrior Project this year.
We need to get some teams together. I’ll just post the info…
Not ready yet for CFT. Ran 4.1 miles on the Cub Creek Lakeside Trail at Natchez Trace. It was flooded at the halfway point, by what looked like a Beaver Dam. Very hard run from me. Felt like I was doing 8 min pace, but turns out it was 11. Finished in 46:13. Wound up with a small case of Poison Ivy.
You totally need, just in my opinion of course, to do a CFT now, while you’re just starting out, so you’ll know where you started and how much you’ve improved as you go. It’s nice to be able to look back and laugh at the numbers
I subbed bench press for deadlift today. I am still a bit nervous about my lower back.
Here is my CFT:
BS 275
SP 140 (pr)
BP 205
Total: 620
Ran 5k instead 23:55. Getting ready for the St.Jude 1/2 marathon in December. Anyone else in?
