I have decided that I need to focus more on my cardio health this year. I am spending more time on running (run 4-5 times per week). So I ran 2 miles again today.

    Yay Ashley!
I subscribed to the Crossfit Journal today! Right now I’m reading all the nutrition articles. Very good sutff. For those that haven’t subscribed, GO do it.
Also, with much hesitation, I’ve started the Zone “way of life.” Today was my first day and it went well, but I have lots to learn. My major adjustment will be getting used to not comsuming so much sugar. I’ve had a few brief headaches today, that I’m sure will subside. I mean, last week I ate brownies for breakfast so this is huge for me!

Love it Jamie! Keep me informed, I’ll definitely hold you accountable! From experience, the sugar headaches disappear in the middle of the second week. My Diet Coke caffeine helped my sugar cravings a lot.

Take it from someone who was drinking 4 cans of regular Dr. pepper or Mountain Dew a day and eating whole bags of jelly beans at a time…YOU CAN DO IT!!!!! I thought it was going to be so hard but actually I have adjusted and it’s just a way of life for me. Don’t get me wrong, I do love my cheat meals, but I honestly beleive that if we aren’t eating right we won’t be able to perform well on the WOD’s and see the results we all want. I am very pleased with my results, actually I want to put some more weight back on that I have lost and have started working on that with heavier weights, not more junk food.
