**As with Cindy last week, this is our benchmark workout for the week. If you can't make it to the park to workout or have the ability to do this on your own, I strongly encourage you to do so…AND KEEP RECORDS!!! The comments section is a great place to document your times and weights and rounds, etc. When these benchmarks (and other workouts) come back up in a few weeks, you're going to want to be able to compare your performance…Are you making progress? How much progress? Are you getting stronger? Faster? Leaner? It's one of the great components of CrossFit…it's measureable and repeatable. It's competitive and who better to compete with than yourself? After all, you're the only one you have control of. You can't track progess without keeping records.
What's your Fran time? World record is 1:53. Here's a great video of one of CrossFit's elites doing Fran (might I add that he is weighing in at only 135#).

used 33# bar, and did jump ups.
Kept wanting to get on my toes unstead of my heels…not sure if I wasn’t comfortable with the bar or what. I’ve to get my elbows out there. Hopefully it will be better form and time when I do this one again. I better hope so…Amber might not be so nice next time. “Get your butt stuck out, all the way down and get on them heels” Thanks Amber

used 65# and kipping pullups
did all 21 kipping pullups first…next only made it 12 out of 15 b/c hands ripped in three different places and couldnt even do jumping pulls
did finish all rnds of thrusters
**first day back on the Zone (12B protein/9b carbs/??b fat)…slept pretty well bc on summer break…got kipping pulls down now so every wod will be all kipping no matter what time is.
oopps. 2nd day back to Zoning.
I felt awful today for some reason.
I went Rx’d 11:45.
My PR is 5:56 and I’ve gone sub 10 the few times before that. I feel like my front squat has lost a lot since I haven’t been lifting heavy over the summer.
Repeated on Aug 25 and 27th for 7 week comparison.
