Happy Sunday CFJ family! Jayson and I have been on a staycation since Thursday and have missed y’all and the box.
I have several announcements and requests, but first…check out this awesome bunch of CF’ers that made their way in the 1st annual Flag Run on the 4th of July!
1. We are interested in starting a “testimonials” link on the website. If you have a story and/or tranformation photos that you would like to share, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. It can be anything at all…doesn’t have to be a 50 pound weight loss or anything like that…just let us know how CFJ has helped you or impacted your life in some way.
2. Time for some Tough Mudder training and CFJ bonding time! We have been invited to the Hazelhurst compound for some fun this Saturday, July 14th. We WILL have both the 9:00AM and 10:30AM classes at the gym. We will meet for some post WOD outdoor training at 12:30. The address will be on the white board at the gym this week. They have a pool and we will be swimming and doing a little eating post training. Bring some drinks, meat, sides, etc. if you plan on hanging out after the training. Bring your weighted vest or backpack to make the training a little more challenging! Everyone is invited…you do NOT have to be on our TM team to come to the outdoor training session. Let us know if you have any questions.
3. We will be having a level 1 nutrition class at the gym on Saturday, June 21st from 12:00-2:00. If you have not been in on a nutrition lecture at CFJ, I strongly encourage you to make every effort to attend. We believe and have strong evidence from our gym members that health and fitness are most related to nutrition. 70% nutrition, 30% exercise…abs are made in the kitchen. The lecture is free to members, $10 for non-members. We’ll provide everything you need for the class.
4. July fees were due on July 1st. If you have not paid, please recall that any payment made after the 7th is to include a $20 late fee. Everyone has been given a handout on or has been notified of our payment policy. I do hate this part of business, having to ask for payment every month, but this is a business (albeit a very fun and rewarding one) and bills are bills.
