    Tough WOD after 8 hrs of driving and fried coke, fried cookie dough, fried avocados, corn dog and Dr Pepper the night before. Just sad I didn’t have time for fried PB& J with bacon. Maybe next time.

    Walking lunges: 55/55/72

    Metcon:

    9rnds +2 – Unbroken until rnd 5 and had a “pop” in left ankle the DU’s started failing. Current status: sore.

    2 rnds w/ 50# DB – I grab the 50’s b/c I figured no one else wanted to play with them. Next time it’s someone else’s turn.

    7 rnds +5 +8 – Last couple of rounds of PU’s were ALJ (a little jenky) b/c i was reaching muscle failure.

    Power Snatch work 5 x 5 unbroken sets climbing: 95/115/135/145/155
    Both WODs are originally written as a 3 person team WOD, but I just did them with a partner.
    7 min of the following strict press:
    50 @ 115/80
    50 @ 135/95
    AMRAP 165/110
    I used Rxd weights, my partner scaled the 1st and 2nd weights to 55/65 and we got 90 reps into it
    3 min rest
    7 min of the following Power Cleans
    50 @ 155/105
    50 @ 205/145
    AMRAP @ 245/165
    I used Rxd weights again, my partner used 105 and 135 and we got through 82 reps.

    Did L2B to work on pushups…..the up was ok -stayed tight but the down was a bottom out:/
