Flanigan

Today marks 10 years since the death of our friend, Tim Flanigan. For those of you that don’t know, he was a coworker of Jayson, Tim and Mark that died during their Afghanistan deployment. Every year we work to ensure his life and sacrifice is always remembered. There’s a face and story to every name; it’s our responsibility as Americans to remember and honor them and their families. Much is sacrificed in the name of freedom.

    12:38 run with backpack until halfway up Autumn Valley when I handed off to Tanya for her to sprint home.

    All movements unbroken except Burpees. Stopped 4 times to take pictures so I’m capable of more.

    Tweaked my left shoulder somehow in the 3rd round. The remaining went:
    4 -1 arm 15# L-sit press, 22 situps, 7 RR, 53# – 2 front squats and 2 back squats from the rack

    Obviously, I didn’t know Flanigan, but I looked him up this weekend and his smile looked contagious. Thank you for your service, Flanigan.
